Got Walleye?!

This is a recent walleye catch out of Lake Minnetonka!  This fish measured in at just about 32"-true "donkey" lizard.  As you can tell-she was a bit "swollen", major fat walleye.  Will be back on Tonka putting the chase on them.

One of my favorite memories from 2010-Bahamas Bonefishing trip. Best day was 13 bones on the G. Loomis GLX 8WT fly rod with the Tibor Everglades reel. I think the winter blues and dull drums have set in.... It's official, I need a vacation or fishing adventure some where warm-asap!

Missing These Battles

Sitting up here in MN in this 20 below weather has me really missing these "battles". from the front deck of my ranger. This is a short video I found on you tube from a practice day for the Forrest Wood Cup last Aug. Spots pull as hard, maybe even harder then any smallmouth I have ever caught. They are down right mean when you get them hooked.
I am ready to get back on the water in a boat. It just can't come soon enough.
