Have you always wanted to fish for bass, northern, walleye, and muskie like the pros do? With over 10 years on the professional circuit, Matt Peters provides safe and exciting guided fishing excursions for all ages and experience levels in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro lakes area.

Specializing in celebrity and corporate groups, Matt can accommodate most special requests. Trips are informational and customized to the experience level of his guests. All ages and fishing levels are welcome. The goal is to advance your fishing knowledge and provide a comfortable and safe outing.

Open Water Fishing: April-End of October

Lakes

Lake Waconia, Lake Minnetonka, Lake Mille Lacs,  Lake Independence, Whitefish Chain, and others by request

Species

Bass, Walleye, Muskie, Northern, and Panfish

All equipment is provided

  • 2010 Ranger Z520 Mosaic Wrap Boat
  • Shimano reels
  • The industry's finest lures
  • Stearns life preservers

You bring

  • Valid fishing license
  • Rain gear
  • Camera
  • Choice of beverage and snack

Rates

  • 1-2 people/half day (4 hours) = $300.00 
  • 1-2 people/full day (6 hours) = $450.00
  • Additional $75.00 fee for a third guest

Fillet Fee $10-$30, varies by catch

Larger and corporate groups can be accommodated upon request. Groups of 4 or more require an additional boat, arranged for by Matt.

 

Ice Fishing: December-March

Walleye, Northern, and Panfish

All equipment is provided

  • Custom-built ice houses in all sizes; able to accommodate almost all groups
  • A variety of rods and the industry's finest jigs and lures
  • Bait
  • Vexilar Electronics
  • Out-of-metro trips include all of the above, along with meals of fish and sleeping arrangements in an ice house

You bring

  • Valid fishing license
  • Camera
  • Your choice of beverage and snack

Rates

Metro: Lake Waconia, Lake Minnetonka, Lake Independence

  • $125.00 per person/4 hours (minimum of 2 fishers)

Out of Metro:Upper Red Lake, Whitefish Chain

  • $225.00 per person/per night (2 night minimum)

Fish House Rental

Matt provides ice house rentals on either Lake Waconia or Lake Minnetonka during the winter season. This is completely different then a guide service; it is fish house rental only.  You have to supply your own fishing gear, bait, and electronics. The houses are strategically placed in recommended areas but renters are on thier own for fishing and are required to provide their own fishing equipment. The houses are very nice, heated, and ready to go upon arrival. Most accommodate four comfortably for fishing.  Click here to see a few sample pictures of the houses.

  • Fri-Sun $225 / day
